Jorjetta and Ryan came together as husband and wife at a gorgeous venue, the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. The couple meticulously planned their ceremony and reception to their liking. The ceremony took place outdoors, their reception space was beautifully decorated, and a top live wedding band performed for most of their day. There were plenty of outdoor spots for their photographer, Fineline Weddings, to capture the bride and groom in their element. We bet they will cherish those photos and memories for years to come, as well as the amazing performance by the John Parker Band!
The bride wore a mermaid style wedding dress. Her gown was ivory and the bodice was intricately woven in silver thread. She looked radiant in the soft light here, taken at the Chateau Lafayette, a hotel on the grounds of the venue. The bridal party was able to get ready for the day there before heading off to the ceremony.
What a pretty group of ladies! Their dresses were perfect for an evening of dancing; soft and light! The girls all carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.
We love the color scheme of the wedding- blue, gray, white, and pink. The groom wore a dark blue tux, with his groomsmen below in gray. So handsome and sophisticated, this group must have been ready for the night ahead with drinks, dinner, and dancing!
The ceremony was picturesque, outside on the grounds of the resort. For the ceremony a strings trio was provided by John Parker. The bride and groom exchanged their vows under a grand altar wrapped in satin and decorated with roses.
Preclude: Hornpipe, Claire de Lune, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring
Processional: Largo- Winter, Vivaldi- Four Seasons, Wagner- Here Comes The Bride
Recessional: Mendelssohn- Wedding March
We love these two photos of the happy couple after their ceremony. Calm and collected, the nerves gone. It would soon be time to party with John Parker Band! Cocktails were in full swing with the strings trio playing sweetly for the crowd.
The ballroom was decorated with tall centerpieces by Neubauer’s Florist. Tables were covered in lace, gold silverware adorned the pearled chargers, and menus were tucked in gray napkins. The cake was the perfect addition to the decor, a decadent creation of white and pink.
John Parker Band announced the bridal party into the reception when it was time to enter the ballroom. The night was off to a great start as the bride and groom shared their first dance to “All of Me”. The dance floor was in the center of the room and everyone gathered around to watch the happy couple. Then, the groom shared a song he had picked out for his bride, “Gorchivo Vino”.
Throughout the night the bride and groom’s Greek and Bulgarian culture was celebrated with music and traditional customs. Guests had a blast as John Parker Band was able to play lots of Greek music & guests’s requests. The band also lead the tradition of breaking the bread. It’s a fun one- the mother’s of the groom and bride hold and feed the couple a portion of bread. Then the best man has to break the bread over their heads to see who will be the spender and bread winner!
First Dance: John Legend, All of Me
Groom/Mother: Paul Todd, The First Lady In My Life
Father/Daughter: Anthony Carter, Daddy’s Angel
Speciality Songs: Bust A Move, Bridal Party Entrance, Greek Music
Later in the evening guests had a blast during the money dance, another Greek tradition. The bride and groom were blessed with plenty of good fortune as their family and friends threw bills in the air! The band changed it up a bit to play top hits from today and some of the bride and groom’s favorite oldies, such as “Build Me Up Buttercup” and “September”. There certainly was something for everyone to enjoy and put on their dancing shoes. The party continued on late into the night with a fireworks display – even more dancing with the band – and THEN an after party, where John Parker Band acted as DJ. What a night to remember!
We’d like to thank Jorjetta and Ryan for having John Parker Band be a part of their celebration. The band had a wonderful time embracing their culture and playing awesome music. Andy and Molly’s wedding was an upscale celebration at the Hotel Monaco. With many out of town guests, the couple knew they wanted to have their ceremony and reception in one location. The hotel accommodated all their wishes by providing a large ceremony space, rooftop cocktails, and beautiful ballroom.
The bride and groom envisioned an amazing party and there was no way to do that without a fantastic live band. The couple enlisted the premier John Parker Band to perform all evening long at their reception. Everyone enjoyed nonstop dancing, singing, and popular music!
We love this photo taken of the groom before seeing his bride. The couple chose to do a first look, which is when a bride and groom see each other before the ceremony. They were able to take many photos together with their photographer, Christina Montemurro.
The bride looked glamorous. Her dress was sleeveless with a high neckline, sparkly belt, and full skirt. Her bouquet was an array of gold, white, and yellow blooms. It was exquisitely done by My Garden Floral.
Their ceremony space was so pretty with cream floral arrangements and a white aisle runner. We love the cool design of the carpet too! And the John Parker Band played music during the ceremony.
Wedding Party: You Are the Best, Ray LaMontagne
Bride Entrance: Make You Feel My Love, Adele
End of Ceremony: Windows Are Rolled Down, Amos Lee
What a great shot of guests mingling during cocktail hour. A rooftop is certainly the place to be! Guests must have been eager for the reception to start to listen to some awesome music by John Parker Band. They were all set to start the night off with introductions in the ballroom.
The ballroom was decorated tastefully with white flowers and black tablecloths. Votive candles were scattered throughout the room and impressive light fixtures hung from the ceiling. The dance floor was in the middle of the room with John Parker Band all set up. The bride and groom had their first dance to the song “El Camino”.
Bride & Groom Dance: Amos Lee- El Camino
Mother & Son: Grateful Dead- Standing on the Moon
Other Requests: Taylor Swift- Shake it Off, Old Crow Medicine- Wagon Wheel
Guests listened to toasts from the mother of the bride, best man, and maid of honor as the first course was served. Afterwards the groom and his mother danced to “Standing on the Moon”.
The night started off with popular hits to bring everyone out on the dance floor. The band wanted all their guests to have a great time and playing familiar songs is definitely the way to go! The couple had a few songs they requested to be played, including “Wagon Wheel” and “Shake It Off”.
The newlyweds trusted the band to make the right choices of what songs to play. John Parker Band had a few tricks up their sleeves with groovy lighting, energetic band members, and swinging tunes. Take a look at that dance floor! It was packed! We love the angle of this shot, the view of the band and guests having fun.
How about a little guest singing? John Parker offered the mic to guests who wanted to sing along to their favorite songs. We bet everyone loved the performance!

Weddings are not just about the bride and groom, they are also about family. Jonathan and Elizabeth’s family were a part their special day. Many of their family members were in the bridal court. Their photographer, Jessica Vogelsang, captured some beautiful memories of the bond between the bride and her sisters, and the groom with the ring bearers. The couple chose a sophisticated venue for their reception, where they shared emotional dances with their parents, as the premier live wedding band, John Parker Band, performed.
The ladies looked lovely. The maids of honor wore silver sequin gowns and carried bouquets of white roses and gray flowers. The bride wore a sweetheart gown with lace and delicate beading.
The bride’s bouquet matched the flower girl’s crown of white roses and baby’s breath. The bride’s tear drop earrings, diamond bracelet, and hair pendant completed her ensemble.
The youngest flower girl waited patiently to do her very important job! Isn’t she the sweetest? Both flower girls wore matching gold dresses and shoes.
How joyous was the groom, showing off festive socks. He wore a blue suit, seasonal tie, and white shirt. His patent shoes shined and a rose was pinned to his lapel. What a great looking groom!
The ring bearers wore blue jackets like the groom with beige pants and shoes. They held hands as they timidly walked down the aisle of the grand St. Michael’s of the Valley church. Soon they would not be so shy, out on the dance floor!
Everyone rejoiced once the bride and groom were announced husband and wife. Guests headed to the reception at an exclusive country club after the ceremony, eager to hear the sounds of John Parker Band.
Guests were greeted by the band playing festive jazz music as they mingled and munched during cocktail hour. The country club was aglow with lights and a large evergreen tree stood in the center of the room. The newlyweds waltzed in once the band started to play their song, “You Are The Best Thing”. All the couples in the room were invited to join in before the song came to an end.
First Dance: Ray LaMontagne, You Are The Best Thing
Groom/Mother: Josh Groban, You Raise Me Up
Bride/Father: Temptations, My Girl
Last Song of the Night: Rembrandts, I’ll Be There For You
John Parker Band played holiday tunes as guests enjoyed a sit down dinner. The father of the bride toasted to the happy couple and the maid of honors also raised their glasses to the bride and groom. The band began to play “My Girl” for the bride to dance with her father. There must not have been a dry eye in the room!
The groom also shared a dance with his mother. As requested the band played “You Raise Me Up”. Guests were invited to join in right before the song ended. The party was just about to start rolling- but first, cake!
John Parker Band performed many of the bride and groom’s favorite songs. The couple chose a variety of tunes for the band to play, including classic rock, fun oldies, and top hits from today. There was something for everyone to enjoy, guests from all ages crowded the dance floor and were having fun!
The party was an absolute blast. Guests did not stop dancing the whole night, which is exactly what the bride and groom hoped for. The band played late into the night, cranking out hit after hit. We loved seeing everyone enjoy the live entertainment!

When a couple has impeccable taste, their wedding will no doubt be a glamorous affair. Laura and Louis had an amazing eye for detail and ear for music at their wedding at the Hotel Monaco. Their reception featured gold sequin tables, tall floral centerpieces, and a tasty dessert table. Top wedding band, John Parker Band, was there to get the party started, and got all their guests fired up on the dance floor.
The ceremony took place at the stunning Saint Bernards, a huge cathedral church. Vows were exchanged in front of a large golden altar with an organ and pillar candles. The wooden pews were decorated with flowers and white sashes.
We just adore this couple! So happy and in love, their joy was captured in this gorgeous photo, taken by Joey Kennedy. Louis looked sharp in his classy black tuxedo and Laura’s white satin dress, long veil, and diamond jewelry made her the perfect bride. Her bridal court wore black dresses and we love that they are not all wearing the same dress!
The bride’s bouquet featured roses, dahlias, and orchids. Leaves were spray painted gold, tying in the color scheme of their reception effortlessly. The same flowers were used to make up the floral centerpieces in the ballroom, done by Mt Lebanon Florist. Each vase was gold and had crystal beads hanging down, just the right touch of sparkle.
At each place setting, guests found a personalized menu with the monogram of the bride and groom. The sequin table cloths glittered and shined and the silverware gleamed. The John Parker Band welcomed guests into the ballroom and announced the bridal court and bride and groom.
Before guests made their way to their tables, the band asked everyone to surround the bride and groom on the dance floor. The band played “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” for their very first dance as husband and wife.
Then it was time for their first course, followed by toasts from the maid of honor and best man. As dinner came to an end, John Parker Band began to play My Cherie Amour as the bride and groom cut the cake.
What an amazing cake! It was five tiers tall, with the middle tier featuring a rose swirl and diamond borders. The cake was truly a work of art! Bella Christies, their baker, is incredibly talented. We also love the rose table cloth and golden cake stand. So glam!
After cake was served, it was time to get the party started! The band played the upbeat Tom Jones classic “It’s Not Unusual” for the mother and the groom to dance a choreographed routine that brought down the house.
Bride & Groom Dance: Can’t Take My Eyes Of of You, Frankie Valli
Father & Bride Dance: Thank Heaven For Little Girls, Maurice Chevalier
Mother & Groom (choreographed) Dance: It’s Not Unusual, Tom Jones
Last Song of the Night: You Make My Dreams Come True, Hall & Oates
John Parker Band played energetic, top hits, including some favorite oldies. Friends and family swarmed on the dance floor, letting loose and feeling the fun, upbeat music. The party was so much fun that the band was asked to stay for an extra hour.
We are so thrilled to have been able to share photos from Laura and Louis’ wedding! Annie and Tyler were married on a beautiful, sunshine filled day. Their wedding was definitely one to be remembered, by all their friends and family. Elegant and romantic, clean and sophisticated, every detail was thought of and taken into account. From the ceremony to the reception venue, to an awesome live band with whom they danced the night away, their day was so grand and royal, with hundreds of crisp white flowers, bright red berries, and touches of gold.
We love this photo above taken by Sky’s the Limit Photography, of the bride and groom appearing to be so carefree and fun. Annie wore a sleek, timeless white stain dress, with a pretty open back. Tyler donned a black tux, white shirt, and simple black bow tie. So classy!
The next series of photos capture the details of Annie and Tyler’s wedding day perfectly. Annie’s white bouquet consisted of white roses and hydrangeas and the stems were wrapped in sheer organza. In the other photo, red holly berries were sprinkled around Annie’s white satin shoes. And finally, another photo shows their wedding rings resting on a evergreen branch.
How stunning is Annie? She is just gorgeous. With her loose up-do, one curl tenderly caressing her face, she glows. Her diamond teardrop earrings sparkled in the sun and her beautiful shawl kept the chill away, pinned with an antique brooch.
Annie and Tyler said “I do” inside a gorgeous cathedral church, St. Mary’s of the Mount. With stained glass windows, high ceilings, and twinkling pine trees, their ceremony was incredibly romantic.
After the ceremony, friends and family made their way to the historic Longue Vue Club for the reception. Classy and chic, the reception venue boosted a mixture of tall and low centerpieces, featuring the same flowers as the bride’s bouquet- white hydrangeas and roses. Their florist, RJ Kohler, did a beautiful job mixing in touches of evergreen and holly berries as well.
Large windows and french doors gave way to tons of natural light. Wreaths hung from the windows and were accentuated by cream colored tapestries above every window. The tables were covered in crisp white linens, white china, and sparkling silverware. Silver candles gleamed, flickering softly, and menu cards were carefully placed at each and every place setting.
There was not one, but three cakes at Annie and Tyler’s wedding! A three tier, two tier, and a groom’s cake rested on charming checkered board cake platters. The cakes were done by Jennuine Cakes and each cake was decorated with simple white roses and springs of pine.
Annie and Tyler hired one of the country’s best wedding bands for the evening, the John Parker Band. The couple, who love to dance, requested the band to get the party started early in the night, with a playlist of 60’s, 70’s, and 90’s hits.
First Dance- Make Someone Happy, Jimmy Durante
Bride/Father – Kind & Generous, Natalie Merchant
Groom/Mother: How Sweet It Is, James Taylor
Last Song: What A Wonderful World, Louis Armstrong
We love this photo of the bride and groom clearly having a good time, Annie with a huge smile on her face and Tyler throwing his head back to laugh. The large dance floor was in the center of the room and their photographer, Sky’s the Limit Photography, managed to capture some awesome photos of their guests of all ages enjoying themselves, as the band played on!

One of our favorite rustic weddings took place at Shakespeare’s. From the outside, the venue appears to be an ancient castle, with large wooden doors, stone walls, and green vines. Suzanne and her court looked absolutely stunning; her bridesmaids wore dark dresses and had deep red roses in their bouquets, perfect for a fall wedding. The girls wore sparkly earrings and donned side swept hairdos, so soft and pretty. Suzanne’s mermaid dress was a dreamy confection of white lace, with a sweetheart top, and small train. Her hair fell to her shoulders in loose waves and her simple jewelry was just the right touch.
Suzanne and Chris tied the knot on the Terrace, an outdoor space on site of their venue. The sun shone behind the altar, which was wrapped in crisp white tulle. The first row of chairs were tied with pink ribbons and a trail of rose petals lined the cobblestone aisle.
Chris and his groomsmen looked dashing in their dark jackets and pinstriped gray pants. We love the matching bow ties and white and gray pocket handkerchiefs. What a day of happiness for Chris, in the center of the group, grinning from ear to ear!
Suzanne’s bouquet was a true work of art. Her flowers were done by Posies by Patti and we just loved the mix of full blooms, with roses, peonies, and dahlias. The light colors blended together beautifully, with hints of pink, lavender, and peach. If you take a closer look, the stems are wrapped in a lace fabric and pinned together with several small white pearls.
Suzanne and Chris hired the top wedding band to perform, the John Parker Band. For their first dance, the couple selected the popular song “More Than Words”.
Bride & Groom’s Dance: Extreme – More Than Words
Father and Bride : “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole – Over the Rainbow,
Final Song of the night: Eddie Money – Take Me Home Tonight
The grand ballroom at Shakespeare’s Restaurant glowed with dimly lit chandeliers and votive candles. Every table was draped in white, with a lacy overlay, and petite vases were filled with roses. The dance floor offered ample space for guests to party the night away to the tunes of John Parker Band.
Tiffany Wolfe captured these sweet photos of the bride and groom during their first dance. We also love this shot below of friends and family getting it down on the dance floor!
