Valerie and Kurt’s wedding was at the magnificent and unforgettable Gulf-front Marco Beach Ocean Resort.

John, of The John Parker Band, says that “Corrin from Marco Beach, and planner Kehrin Hassan from Jet Set Wed were so easy to work with” and that “the resort was among the best on the West Coast of Florida!”

Corrin and Kehrin coordinated this laid-out wedding, which ironically John had the pleasure of being a part of due in part to his popularity on the Jersey Shore, AND South Florida – funny enough – as Valerie’s father is a senator in New Jersey.

The Grand Hall at the Priory is a unique wedding venue with one event per day & ONE focus, YOU! And with that focus, perfection it was for bride and groom Jess and Eric.

This great couple was married at Heinz Chapel, then moved the party to the Priory’s Grand Hall for the reception. Pittsburgh’s top wedding band, The John Parker Band, provided the musical entertainment, which was well-accepted by Jess and Eric and their guests, to say the least.

Stephanie and Clint, with the help of a staff that makes each event at the Club unique, combined traditional and original ideas to create a wonderful evening. That included top Pittsburgh wedding entertainers, The John Parker Band, who kept the bride and groom and their guests entertained throughout the evening.

Sea Oaks CC Little Egg Harbor | Meghan and Rob

While bride and groom Meghan and Rob brought love and beauty to their wedding day, The John Parker Band brought the fun, entertaining guests throughout the evening.

About the band, Meghan’s mom says that the band did a “fabulous job at my daughter’s wedding. [We] first met John at my son’s wedding in Pittsburgh (also a terrific performance there) and noticed that he also regularly performed in NJ -what a coincidence! JP was the first one I called when they set the wedding date.”

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank | Fitzgerald Inauguration

Rich Fitzgerald’s Inauguration Gala, celebrating his new position as Chief Executive of Allegheny County, featured Pittsburgh’s best in entertainment.

The event was held at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and catered by top Pittsburgh caterer Bob Sendall of All In Good Taste, and The John Parker Band supplied an evening of great music. Marylynn Uricchio of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette observed: “Lending a festive musical note was the John Parker Band, which only stopped long enough to allow Mrs. Fitzgerald to introduce her husband to the appreciative crowd.”

John and his band congratulate Mr. Rich Fitzgerald on his new position!

Whirl Magazine Weddings | Ashley and David

US Marine Corps Lieutenant David met Ashley, and he soon was in love. After only seven months of dating, Ashley and David then spent the NEXT seven months apart, as David was deployed to Afghanistan.

Back at home – Ashley and her mom, assisted by event planner Tim Komen, planned the perfect wedding. The couple married at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Downtown Pittsburgh, and celebrated with a reception at the elegant and grand Omni William Penn Hotel.

Not even the remarkably tall & elegant cake by Bella Christie Sweet Boutique could steal attention away from the beautiful bride! Alençon lace from Ashley’s mother’s veil lined her own, matching perfectly to the lace on her Vera Wang wedding gown. Contrasted against David’s dress blues uniform, this was nothing short of a gorgeous couple.

With every detail hand-selected– including the music of Pittsburgh’s own The John Parker Band— David and Ashley, along with their guests, certainly experienced a night to remember.

Ashley and David soon jetted off to Fiji, but returned to the news that David would be deployed to Japan to help with the Tsunami relief effort. But, while there, David was able to receive a call from his new wife, sharing the wonderful news that they’d soon be parents!

Now enjoying life with a new baby boy, we wish Ashley and David all the best in continuing their love story!

The John Parker Band was at the Fairmont Pittsburgh’s grand ballroom last week to celebrate the Season of Giving Gala.

Honoring this year’s Season of Giving Recognition Awardee, Pittsburgh Penguins CEO David Morehouse, this annual event held by the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh was a resounding success.

“…the John Parker Band drew people to the dance floor, rewarding guests for helping to raise $348,000.”

Top South Florida Wedding band the John Parker Band, rocked fun into this elegant affair. The amazing Boca Photographer Carlos Aristizabal was kind enough to share these photos– certainly showing that the bride & groom, and their guests, were enjoying their reception – powered by John and his band!

The Colonnade, dressed up in regal wedding decor, was SO beautiful that John couldn’t resist snapping a few of his own photos with his phone. (a little fuzzy but you get the idea!)
