about our samples:
"Motion picture" looking band videos (not ours - 😆) are recorded on sound stages, with super expensive cameras & lighting, & recording studios & all kinds of effects - then the singing is lip-synced to previously recorded audio while the video part is being filmed.
There's NOTHING at all wrong with famous recording artists doing that - it's exactly how music videos on channels like MTV are made.
BUT, that's often not how it's going to look or sound at YOUR event. And if you think about it, you're NOT hiring a "movie" - you're hiring a BAND. And, in our opinion, what you should want is a good idea as to what that's REALLY going to be like.
so what?
.So.. while our videos are nowhere near as "Hollywood-like" as others - our band singing & playing IS being recorded LIVE while the videos are shot ..meaning that's HOW WE SOUND! Not how some recording studio sounds..
We respectfully submit our videos show a realistic & accurate impression of what you are actually going to get with us at YOUR event - as opposed to a staged look that just isn't realistic, without piling on $$ for lots of extra "stuff"
And, that means we will look & sound this way at YOUR event too! ...Most of our clients say our videos don't do us justice.. Ok then.. but we think that's a LOT better than seeing a band that looks & sounds online like Hollywood & then getting something MASSIVELY worse at your wedding.. Don't you agree?
It doesn't hurt to know what to - REALISTICALLY - expect! 😍

PLEASE NOTE!
At events, people that take video on their phones have NO idea where to stand so it doesn’t sound weird, or look dark – but we’re NOT going to send out some cameraperson to interrupt people’s events! – So… we take what we get & just have to accept what’s here is not great sounding or looking.
Also, often people like to record the most “interactive” moments, like JP singing to the crowd, or the guests acting goofy, etc… and accordingly, that’s a lot of what you see here. While those moments are unquestionably fun – all the video of it might leave the impression that’s all we do – While nothing could be further from the truth.
There’s a time & place for that kind of thing – please trust we have the common sense to know when that’s the case! 😀
