Rhyan and Kristi’s May nuptials had the look of a classic fairy tale wedding with a modern spin! The gorgeous venues may have been larger than life, but these spaces were embellished with elegantly simple decorations that fit perfectly into the subtle white and pink color palette. From the delicate decor to the amorous newlyweds, love was certainly in the air on this big day! After a heartwarming ceremony, the dance floor was came alive thanks to the musical efforts of the John Parker Band!
Jorge Santiago provided us with gorgeous photos that truly capture the romance of Rhyan and Kristi’s special day. Mary Schwarzwaelder of Post Script Productions also created a lovely trailer that shows all of these charming details in action!
The bride and groom said their “I do’s” in a traditional Catholic ceremony at the beautiful St. Paul’s Cathedral. This spectacularly luminous church has a glowing white interior with towering columns, sky high ceilings, and pointed arches that are reminiscent of European gothic cathedrals. St. Paul’s created a stellar backdrop for the couple’s sacred union!
The Duquesne University Ballroom set the stage for the reception. Thanks to event coordinator Karen White, the space looked like a romantic’s dream! The delicious wedding cake was artfully decorated with filigree adornments reminiscent of Victorian lace, while each table looked sleek and clean with its fresh flowers and white table cloths. The reception decor may have been pristine, but the party was lively! The guests enjoyed a delectable multi-course meal before hitting the dance floor.
The first class wedding band performed a versatile play list before a wall of windows, acting as both the centerpiece of the room and the force that kept the good times rolling!

Power Center Ballroom Wedding: Drew & Antoinette
Drew and Antoinette threw an exciting wedding that was classically styled with a little pinch of glamour. To keep up the fun, party atmosphere they wanted at their reception, the newlyweds sought the help (and tunes) of the John Parker Band!
Be sure to take a look through the knockout photographs of this happy day, taken by the generous Studio Bash.
The traditional Roman Catholic ceremony took place at the awe-inspiring Saint Paul Cathedral. As the bride walked down the aisle, her long train and cathedral veil trailed behind her, giving her a striking appearance that could even compete with the beauty of the church. Beneath the epic archways and high vaulted ceilings, the loving couple said their vows before friends, family, and God.
After exiting the church, it was on to the reception venue: the Power Center Ballroom. Wedding coordinator Karen White deserves many compliments for ensuring that everything was in order! The room had been decorated in tasteful white and accessorized with dazzling details, such as tall vases filled with pink roses and bows tied neatly around the chairs. It was the perfect setting for a formal dinner. Of course, once dinner came to a close, it was time for the much-anticipated party to begin!
From the newlywed’s first dance to the late night boogin’, the outstanding wedding band had guests practically glued to the dance floor. Everyone was loving the music and the positive vibes. This was certainly a dance party for the ages!
