From the impeccable styling to the opulent flower arrangements, the wedding at The Duquesne Club was undeniably glamorous. No detail was left unattended to. This fun-loving couple also impressed guests by hiring a top-tier wedding band that kept the reception dance floor rockin’ all night!

Goldstein Photography snapped some brilliant photos of the couple’s big day that are sure to find a loving place on the walls of the couple’s home. They were also kind enough to share their pictures with us. THANKS Mike & Lynne!

After enjoying a relaxing cocktail hour on the patio to harmonious piano music, the guests grabbed their table cards and started seating themselves for dinner. Thanks to the awesome Tom Wahl,  the main dining room looked jaw-droppingly gorgeous – typical of a Duquesne Club Wedding. Each table was bedecked in soft blue linens and elegant tableware, topped off by glass centerpieces overflowing with a wide array of garden-fresh flowers. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and an elaborate dessert buffet before it was time to dance!

The traditional Roman Catholic ceremony took place at the awe-inspiring Saint Paul Cathedral. As the bride walked down the aisle, her long train and cathedral veil trailed behind her, giving her a striking appearance that could even compete with the beauty of the church. Beneath the epic archways and high vaulted ceilings, the loving couple said their vows before friends, family, and God.

After exiting the church, it was on to the reception venue: the Power Center Ballroom. Wedding coordinator Karen White deserves many compliments for ensuring that everything was in order! The room had been decorated in tasteful white and accessorized with dazzling details, such as tall vases filled with pink roses and bows tied neatly around the chairs. It was the perfect setting for a formal dinner. Of course, once dinner came to a close, it was time for the much-anticipated party to begin!

When a florist gets married, you know it’ll be a beautiful wedding!   Laurie’s family owns Gidas Flowers, and she herself is a talented professional florist at the shop.  Not surprisingly, this was one of the most lush and breathtaking weddings the John Parker Band has ever been part of!   Though both the wedding and reception were indoors, Laurie and her team made the Holy Cross Church and the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer feel like a garden, a perfect setting for this beautiful couple on their wedding day. The bride wore a long, trumpet-style lace gown and her bridesmaids were dressed in a bright, leafy green, adding to the springtime garden feel!   Bride and groom and wedding party at Gidas Flowers, the family business, in Pittsburgh.   Top Pittsburgh wedding entertainers, the John Parker Band, joined the newlyweds Jordan and Laurie at their reception, offering hours of music, laughter, and fun for the couple and their guests. Before long, nearly everyone was on the dance floor celebrating!   After the wedding, Laurie sent us an email, saying: “Thank you John- everything was perfect! Everyone has been raving about the band! You really put on a great party!”   Her father was equally impressed, and told us “..You and your band MADE the night, thanks for the great job.”     We’re grateful to Pittsburgh wedding photographer Amber of Amber Marie Photography who captured this stunning wedding, allowing us to share it with you:

Couple shares first dance to John Parker Band.

Theresa & Dale started their life together with a simple, intimate ceremony at home with their closest family and friends. After the “I Do,” they moved the party to the historic Riverside Hotel, where the couple celebrated their marriage with a luau featuring premier Florida wedding entertainers, the John Parker Band!

Many more guests joined the couple to drink, dance, and celebrate with the couple at the Polynesian-themed event. The beautiful cake was decorated with seashells, guests wore leis, a ukelele player joined the band on stage, and flip-flop sandals were wrapped up as a gift for attendees. What a fun celebration of the couple’s love!

A big thanks goes out to photographer Michael Murphy for sharing these images with us!

Congratulations to Theresa & Dale! May you enjoy many more happy years together!
